Easy is an excellent horse. I have had
her for almost two years now. When we
got her she had foundered, but she is
making a great recovery. She cannot be
ridden until at least next summer,
though I have ridden her lightly and she
did well. That is when her feet should
be completely healed. She would make a
great broodmare. She has no markings
other than a blaze. I did a youth rodeo
with her for a year. The events I did
were: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Down
and Back, Steer Daubing, and Goat Tying.
I did pretty good. She gets along well
with the cows. In Steer Daubing the idea
was to chase a cow and hit it, and she
didn't mind one bit. I have also taken
her on countless trail rides. She
doesn't mind leading or following. She
does not spook at much. She goes over
logs and creeks/puddles with ease. She
also walks through tight spaces. I have
had dogs run out in front of me and she
didn't even flinch, as well as deer. I
have also taken her to a local place
specifically for trail riding and rode
for hours on end with no problem. I've
even gone on trail rides with no saddle
or bridle, just bareback and a halter
and lead rope, and she acted as if she
was fully tacked. She stands well for
the farrier, bathing, etc. She loads and
hauls easily also. She gets along well
with other horses. She does not crib.
Dogs and four wheelers don't bother her
either. She is great at backing up. She
will go slow if that's what you want her
to do, but she will also go faster, much
faster. She's a beautiful girl, and I
will miss her dearly. She is nice and
stout, and a pretty easy keeper as long
as she has food. I am selling her
because we are trying to cut back on
costs. She is to a good home only. Only
serious inquiries please. Thanks.
