This mare has been used for ranch work,
including gathering cattle, branding,
and working colts. She was also started
in team roping, on the heel side. She is
very laid back and is a bit on the lazy
side. She is great to haul, bathe, and
shoe, and she is an easy keeper. She is
registered ApHC (solid) and ABRA.
Her sire (Buck Bars Smokin Gun)
is a foundation bred AQHA stallion who
has AQHA points and was used for roping.
Her dam is a running bred Appaloosa mare
who goes back to Princes Playboy and
Prince Plaudit.
She has had 2
foals (a palomino colt in 2007 and a bay
filly this year). Her filly was just
weaned and we are just starting to get
Sweet Pea back into shape. Her filly is
also for sale and we will sell them as a
package deal if you would like.
She would make a great family
horse or trail riding horse or she could
easily go back to work on a ranch.
