Annie is a 15.1hh, 4 year-old registered
black & white Spotted Saddle Horse mare.
She is predominantly white with a black
head and a few black spots on her neck,
flank and rump. She is a very flashy
horse.
I bought Annie in July to
use for Field Trialing, but she doesn’t
have a big enough motor for me. She is
smooth gaited and broke to ride in the
pasture or the arena. However, she
lacks confidence elsewhere and needs
miles put on her. She requires an
intermediate or advanced rider right
now, but I believe with a little
training and experience, she will prove
to be a quiet trail mount for even a
beginner. She would also make an
excellent 4-H prospect. She is a very
quick study and willing to
learn.
She is pastured with two
geldings and gets along with them very
well. She has good feet and stands for
the Farrier. She is up to date on
shots, deworming, and farrier work. I
had her teeth floated and wolf teeth
pulled several months ago.
She
is easy to catch in the pasture. She
stands for mounting and has a very soft
mouth with a lot of whoa. She loads
into a small, straight load two-horse
trailer and is comfortable in a large
slant load. She pickets and stakes out,
and she is comfortable in a standing
stall.
