Goldie, a registered quarter (See
Pedigree) was used as a barrel horse
during her 1st 2 yrs under saddle, then
a brood mare (picture of baby
available). She threw a buckskin. Her
first rider invested too much push. Now
Goldie is being retrained for trails and
pleasure. She needs a lot of gentle
quiet time to get rid of some of the
fear that was instilled by her 1st
rider. She has come a long way in just 3
months and we would like her to go to a
good home that will continue on with the
same kind of work that we have been
doing. Breeding is another option for
her, as her babies are gentle and
beautiful. Her owner can no longer work
with her because of heart problems that
limits the kind of riding or strenuous
work that she is able to do. Come and
visit her but remember, this horse is
for experienced riders.
