I have owned William most of his life.
He was never raced and is not registered
with the Jockey Club. He is registered
with the Florida Thoroughbred
Association. He is a French thoroughbred
and is a large bodied horse. I bought
him to drive and he took to it
beautifully. He is very calm and enjoys
pulling. He has pulled on dirt tracks
and in the arena. He willingly goes over
bridges and through water. He will pull
with or without blinkers and does not
spook at horses galloping up to him from
pastures. He is gentle enough to be
handled by an experienced child. He has
been lightly ridden under saddle on the
trail but that was years ago. He would
need to be retrained properly under
saddle. He is incredibly smart and easy
to handle. He has beautiful movement and
incredibly smooth gaits. He was ponied
on trails for years and would be an
excellent trail and trail trial horse. I
took him over many trail trial obsticals
in the past and he enjoys it. He also
trailers easily. This is a wonderful
horse with a loving personality. I would
keep for for ever but I can not see him
more than a month out of the year with
my work. He deserves a home where he
will get more attention so I want to
find him a very kind, experienced home
that will keep him for life. He needs a
home where he can live naturally in
pasture. He likes women and men. He gets
along well with other horses and has
been in with cattle, sheep and llahmas.
The video was his 3rd time hooked up to
the cart and his first time pulling at a
