Lucky
Rumors Bar Fly
Lucky is a
beautiful registered quarter horse
appendix. AQHA #X0560626. He is in the
bloodline of the famous Sonny Dee Bar.
Lucky is a character, always wanting to
be a part of what is going on. He rode
barrels early in his life, with lots of
wins but we didn’t feel that he really
enjoyed it so he has primarily been
ridden on the trails. He is very social
and wants to be around other horses and
people but can be ridden off on his own.
He is very soft and flexible. He prefers
to be neck reined but can be plow reined
just as easily. He also does pretty well
off the feet & legs. He is very fast!
Lucky is great with the Vet. & farrier
and he knows exactly what to do. He ties
and loads like an old pro. Lucky is in
good health and up to date on all shots
and coggins (just completed in October)
He has his feet done every six weeks and
has always been barefoot with no need
for shoes. 90% of the time he will come
from the field on command. Lucky gets
worked in the arena on a 12’ & 20’ rope
with some liberty running weekly. He
doesn’t get ridden often so he isn’t as
bulky as he once was but with a little
work he’ll beef up. Due to him not
having been ridden often he has started
to move around a bit during mounting but
with a little work that is an easy fix.
I’m just being honest.
My wife had an
accident on her motorcycle and damaged
her foot. It is unfortunate but she will
no longer be able to ride. With my
schedule and working my other horse I do
not have time to devote to Lucky. He has
been a big part of our family and with a
heavy heart I must find him a new home.
The most important thing to us is a good
caring home for him. My asking price is
negotiable and the better we like you
and your farm the better the price. A
quality home is a must. I will not sell
him to dealers, brokers, or traders so
do not call.
