Grandaughter of Sonita's Last & Peppy
San Badger, you won't find any better
breeding! I've had her for over a year
and have been gearing her towards
feedlot/ranch sorting and she's been
doing pretty well at the practices. She
had some previous training as a 2 yr old
for cutting and sometimes she will drop
and cut on a cow. Definately not ready
for competition but I have not had the
time to finish her and have ridden her
very little the last several months. She
is not cold backed or broncy at all, had
never offered to pitch or rear or
anything. Needs a rider with a good seat
as she will sometimes come around very
quickly and has been known to stop and
slide real hard. From what I can find
out on her history, she has been mainly
ridden in arena situations and tho I've
ridden her in our pasture, I've not
taken her out on any trails. I'm really
taking a loss at this price but need to
move her! She is open and there is no
record of any foals from her. UPDATE:
Rode Bossy this weekend with no issues.
She was more content with pleasure
trotting around instead of working but I
was over all pleased with her stops,
backing, side passing, etc from her.
