Great little Sorrel Quarter horse - Mare
FREE to a GOOD HOME!! She's 14hh, loads,
clips, bathes, stands for the farrier.
She is approx. 15-20yrs old. Needs
experienced beginner or intermediate
rider. She does needs a bit more time
under the saddle. She comes from a
background of neglect, where we believe
she was left in a pasture for who knows
how long; and we've been working with
her for about 7 months now. Based on her
responses to comands, though, we believe
she comes from a pole bending
background. I'd say with a couple more
months of consistant (2-3 x a wk)
riding, she will be an even better
horse! She has come a long way! She is a
sweet little horse and She rides great,
She neck reins, lopes, trots, knows
basic comands, she can trail ride, great
in the pasture with other horses, can be
riden alone or with other horses. And
she can be ridden bare back (we believe
she prefers it most of the time). Also
can be a great companion horse. She
doesn't have any bad habits. Does not
kick, buck or crib. Because of the
neglect, she does have a little sore
pressure point on the back closer to her
rump. The vet told us to cut a hole in a
saddle pad and lay another one over
that; we do that now, and she's pefectly
fine(the saddle pad will go with her).
She's never been lame or sice we've had
her. MUST go to a good home! FREE! Neg.
