"Charlie" is a fantastic prospect for
the dressage ring, or the jumper ring.
He has been under saddle for 6 months,
and is starting to do courses up to
3'.
Charlie is by the elite
international stallion, Beach Boy.
Beach Boy is now retired from a breeding
career that spanned two continents and
four countries - Germany, The
Netherlands, Sweden and Canada. Beach
Boy sired nine approved sons and over
200 competitive offspring including
Nation's Cup horses Beach Game and Beach
Star. He is also the grandsire of Nick
Skelton's grand prix horse, Arko
III.
Charlie's dam is a maternal
sister to the Canadian Warmblood
stallion, Beau Soleil. Aromatic, like
her brother, passes on excellent gaits,
and uphill carriage for the dressage
ring, with scope and bravery for the
jumper ring. Charlie is her last
foal.
Owner has to sell due to
horse overload, but to an approved home
only. Charlie would do best with a
rider that likes a "kick ride" or a
"push ride". He is safe, and suitable
for an good amateur or accomplished
junior. Like any four-year old,
however, he should in a situation where
a knowledgeable professional is involved
in his development. Charlie is very
friendly, and loves attention from
people. He is athletic, with three
fabulous gaits and a great jump.
