Chestnut 7 yr old appendix quarter horse
gelding . Stands 16.2 hands tall and
built like a brick house. This horse
knows more than I do. I do believe he is
predominantly trained english, Has been
ridden by an english rider and he side
passes , gives to the bit, and knows his
cues. But has no problems with western
gear. He is definatly child friendly and
road wise. He has a nice walk slow or
fast as you ask for it , a smooth
flowing trot, and a really nice canter.
The trainer he is with right now says he
has some go at the canter but is smooth
and very controllable. I have had him
ridden by children and adult beginners
with no issues whatsoever. One being a 9
yr old girl who rode him for 2 hours in
my yard with no signs of bordom or
testing her.Would be an awesome lesson
horse for all ages and sizes. He is a
awesome boy with lots of years ahead of
him. I am losing my pasture and need a
place for him to go. I am willing to do
a free care lease with first option to
buy. Scooby is not spooky, Loads , hauls
, bathes, clips and trims wonderfully.
He is an all around good boy and gets
along with any horse in pasture. My
asking price is negotiable and would
also consider a free care lease. Scooby
is in the process of gaining some weight
but is doing so on a normal diet of
grass hay , regular grain, vitamin
suppliment, and a little beat pulp.
