Patrick is a 13 year old, TB gelding
that stands 16.2 hh, he raced for the
first 6 years of his life and then was a
hunter/jumper and dressage horse.
Unfortunately Patrick fell victim to the
economy like so many horses do these
days. My husband and I ran a small
resuce in Florida on our 11 acre ranch
before we too became victims of the
economy. In the 5 years that we had our
place we were able to save and rehome 12
horses. When we lost our home, we
relocated here to California to be with
our family, 3 weeks before we were
leaving we were told about Patrick.
Needless to say, we couldn't leave him
where he was and we brought him to our
home. We trailered Patrick along with
our own horse Willow here to California,
with help from two wonderful ladies that
we were fortunate enough to find. We had
planned on keeping Patrick for our own,
but he is just not what we need in a
horse. Don't get me wrong, he is
awesome, but we ride Western and he just
doesn't seem to enjoy being out on trail
at all. He does not like the Western
saddle on him as he does have high
withers, but put an English saddle on
him and he is ready to go. He has all
the confindence in the world in the
arena, and truely enjoys himself, but
changes into a different horse when on
trails. He is as sweet as pie and has a
puppy dog attitude, would much rather be
with you than not, he stands perfect for
the farrier and vet, loves to be groomed
and is just a joy to be around. He can
be stalled or pastured, he is good
either way. He is wonderful find for the
right person. Patrick gets along with
everyone, other horses, dogs, llamas,
cows, everything we have exposed him to
he is fine with. He also has a current
neg. coggins and in current on all of
his vaccines. If you would like to meet
Patrick, shoot me an email and we can
set something up. Asking for a great
home and $500.00 OBO Can deliver for
free within reason.
