I have a lovely little mini gelding
available to a good home ONLY! He is
extremely friendly and willing. He has
a pretty face and fine build (under all
the Winter hair!). He halters, leads,
loads, body clips, trims, and stands for
the vet. He is current on worming and
vaccinations, and has current neg.
Coggins papers.
He is in
excellent health, but he does have
hereditary upward fixation of the
patellas. I did not know this when I
purchased him from a "so called"
reputable breeder, as he was drugged up
to hide the clicking in his hocks.
However, he has never locked up on me
since I've owned him. He just "clicks"
as he trots. But it doesn't prevent him
from running and romping about, and he
is never in pain.
Due to his
hereditary condition, he is offered as
"pet quality". He is a fine pet, and
has such a pleasant disposition, that he
would probably make an excellent therapy
animal as well.
He came to me
"supposedly" double registered from the
person I purchased him from, but that
individual never filed for permanent
registration at the time they should
have. I never bothered to file with the
registries as my plans were to keep the
horse as a pet, and papers didn't matter
to me. I do have all his original info
though.
I am offering him, and
the miniature donkey I have for sale, to
a good home ONLY. As changes in our
personal lives force us to be away from
home often, and our guys deserve a
family with lots of TIME to spend with
them.
