Phantom is a
6 year old TB gelding adopted thru
Finger Lakes approximately 1 year ago.
Phantom has been started on the lunge
and under saddle working on straightness
and suppleness in both directions. He
has been worked over poles and small
X-poles, shows great athleticism and
willingness. Phantom's impulsion at the
trot and canter suggest that he will be
great for dressage and eventing.
Phantom however has a weak back
from racing and has taken a break from
work under saddle to undergo
chiropractic treatments. This weakness
with his back was not disclosed by
Finger Lakes at time of adoption but we
would like potential buyers to be aware.
Chiropractic treatments should continue
to improve his alignment and strength.
He is already more supple and
comfortable on the lunge.
I
would recommend this horse for at least
an intermediate rider with a trainer and
to someone that is willing to give
Phantom the care necessary for his back.
Phantom is not a kid's horse as he can
be forward and quick under saddle but we
would love to see him go to a home that
will bring out his full potential. Owner
is selling due to economic hardship and
is motivated to sell to the right home.
Phantom wears shoes and is utd on
