Midnight is a wonderful little 5
year old pony. My 7 year old daughter
can catch him in a field, tie and groom
him for hours. He is gentle when taking
treats out of your hand and loves
carrots. Midnight is easy to catch and
is usually the first at the
gate.
Midnight is trained to ride. We
bought him in April and my daughter rode
him lots until June, we got busy and
haven't ridden him since. My daughter
recently rode him again, and while he
was a very good pony he seemed to need a
refresher.
When we first got Midnight
he would get upset when you tried to
touch his back end or pick up his feet.
Within a week of having him he was
completely fine, so I'm not sure if that
is a trust issue that will need to be
over come again with a new owner or not.
My daughter handles him on the ground
with no problems at all and my farrier
had no issues when he trimmed his feet
last week.
My daughter is quite
nervous on the horses so we've made the
difficult decision to sell him in order
to get her a much older
horse/pony.
Midnight would be
suitable for any level of rider with
confidence. He loves kids and gets along
great with other horses. He is currently
living with 2 big horses.
