""Shortcake" is a Welsh x
paint/appaloosa mare. She has great
conformation and is stocky built. She
also has that flashy "high knee" trot
that welsh ponies are known for.She
leads, ties, stands for farrier, she
does'nt load well but once on the
trailer she hauls fine.This is only
because she has not been loaded very
many times. She is a sweetheart and
loves attention. She is NOT broke to
ride! She would make a great trail or
game pony for someone willing to train
her. When I bought her I was told that
she had been broke as a 3 year old but
the owner died and she was put out to
pasture for a few years. She has had at
least one foal. I bought her with the
intentions of having her trained but I
have bought another horse and I can't
afford to feed 2 of them. Please call
