Jackie took
Bonus yesterday to a Vet.that took
X-Rays of Bonus and said that he has had
a fractured coffin bone that never
healed properly. He is to be put on
Glucosamine and padded shoes for now on.
Stalled until Spring. The Vet predicts
he should be sound by Spring to
ride.
I am trying to sell Bonus
so he doesn't go to the killers. He is
not my horse but belongs to a young
girl. He has been owned and rode mostly
by young girls. 10-14 yrs. old. Dad
don't want to put any money into him.
He loves to play with anything.
Balls, hoses, he'll steal your tools
while working. Just a big Clown. He
could easily be taught to do tricks of
all kinds.
But, Vet says he needs
X-Rays etc. By my discription of his
lameness in his left front leg/foot, the
Vet says it sounds like Navicular
Syndrome. He may need special
shoes,possible nerved, and buted reg.
for riding.
He does make a
beautiful horse in the
pasture.
I'm told Killers pay
.25ct. per pound and that is what he'll
bring if he goes to a sale.
