(AKA Ringo) is a stocky built 14.2hh, 9
yr old, Buckskin Gelding with all black
points!!! Ringo came to us from a family
that has passed him down through 3 kids.
They have ridden Ringo all around their
farm, trail ridden him at several
national forest, shown him at some local
fun shows and let their friends come
over and ride him as well. Throughout
the last 6 years, the oldest child
learned to ride on him and after the
youngest has out grown him, it was just
time to let Ringo move on instead of
just being a pasture pet. Ringo is safe
for a confident beginner to ride. Ringo
has a smooth runwalking gait and a good
racking gait as well. He has a laid back
disposition and will walk slowly when
asked on a loose rein but can move out
easily. He is registered KNGHA. Ringo
has had 2 months of professional
gaiting, trail and bombproof training.
He has been ridden around farm
equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps
and has also had guns shot off of his
back. Just like everything we say about
our horses, we have the videos to prove
it. No matter where he goes or what he
does, Ringo is not spooky acting. On the
trails he is always great! Ringo has
been exposed to all kinds of wildlife
such as deer or turkey or other animals
like cows or dogs and will go anywhere
that he is asked too. He has been rode
many miles in the mountains of Eastern
Kentucky and Tennessee and encountered
every obstacle possible on the trail. He
will go up or down even the steepest
slopes, across deep creeks, over downed
trees, and over all types of rough
terrain while still being sure footed.
He has been rode in traffic and is safe
around cars and trucks. He has a great
attitude and an easy going personality.
