Muffin is a 12.2hh, 9 year old, bay pony
mare. She has been used for
intermediate/advanced lessons, trail
ridden, games, barrel and jumping. She
knows her lead changes, jumps a 2ft plus
course, has been taken through cross
country courses. Muffin has been shown
at schooling shows in jumping and always
places, she also has been shown at fairs
in barrel races and western
games.
She will jump anything in her
path and never refuses.
She can be
independent and needs a confident rider
who can be firm with her. Younger riders
do not seem to have much luck with this
girl so she is not recommended nor will
she be adopted out to a home for lead
line, beginner riders or children under
12 years of age.
Muffin loves to go
fast. She is definitely a games pony or
suitable for any timed
events.
Smaller adults have barrel
raced on her and had no issues. She
would have to be trained for PPG as she
tends to stop when her rider comes off
for vaulting.
She has a great deal of
go, so needs a rider who likes speed.
She has no vices and is sound.
She
has bolted with a younger rider on her,
although she does not tend to rear or
buck and does not seem to need a
consitent riding program.
She would
be suitable for jumping events if
someone could spend the time with her
and slow her down over the fences as she
speeds up when she knows she is going to
jump.
This young lady has a great
deal of potential, she just has not
found the right rider. Her current name
is Cruise as in "Cruise on
By"
