appx. 18yrs 15.3h dark bay paint
gelding. Has 1 blue eye & 1 belly spot.
Ridden in the yard/arena a beginner who
knows basics could ride him. Alone he
req. an inter.-adv. rider on trail,
someone who knows how to handle a
herd-bound horse for he is herd-bound &
does not like being ridden alone or
having the herd leave him. In arena I
have even ridden him bareback & he is
great. Ridden on trail and on the
street. On trail walks right threw
ditchs, high brush, off trail, etc.
without a thought. Great around cars and
motorcycles. Knows a bit of sidesteping,
backs, stops, jogs, lowering head,
yielding hindquarters, and forequarters.
Has a very smooth right lead canter.
Ridden barefoot. Baths, good for
farrier, trailers, etc. He is great with
other horses. He has been stalled out at
pasture with foals, older horses, etc.
and is great. He is very sweet and loves
attention. He is off on his back left
leg but it does not seem to affect him
he still loves to canter and still does
all his cues and rides for hours and is
just fine. I still ride him on long
hourly rides and he is just fine and
still wanting to go. He must be stalled
next to or with another horse for he
does not like being alone. We are asking
$175 obo to a good approved home only.
