Bailey is a lovely mare who always tries
to please and is extremely affectionate.
She is excellent on trails and has no
problems hacking out by herself. Bailey
has impeccable ground manners; she
trailers, ties, clips, stands for the
vet and farrier and accepts the bit
willingly. She has been ridden English
and western so she is quite comfortable
in either type of tack (she is currently
in a full-cheek snaffle). For the past
two years she showed in the jumpers and
this summer she placed well in the
gaming classes at local schooling shows
(barrel racing, key hole and pole
bending). Bailey can get a little ‘hot’
under saddle after cantering so she
needs an intermediate and patient rider
but she is not mean. Her rider has left
for post-secondary school so she is in
need of a new home. All offers
