Cara is a big gorgeous red TB mare with
lots of experience. She was a lesson
horse for many years then a personal
horse with her previous owner. She has
obviously been very well cared for
during her life as she looks great for
her age. She does get a little stiff if
worked too much, so Cara is looking for
a semi-retirement home.
At one point
she had been half-leased to a young
rider who crashed her through a few
fences, so Cara now does not want to
jump anything higher than 2 foot.
However a little bit of small fence
jumping would be ok.
Cara does tend to
lose weight when the really cold weather
hits, so she should be blanketed during
the winter.
She is great for the
farrier, loads and trailers well and is
up to date on all shots and deworming.
In short, this gorgeous lady is one of
the worth her weight in gold school
