Hes Amazingly Flashy due to his proud
carriage, black roan color,and white
star and snip over one nostril. I would
not recommend him for a beginner since
his Pusher bloodlines show through. He
is perfect under saddle although a
little hot and stiff for the first 10 to
20 minutes then he loosens up and
smooths out into his gait.
Hes
very responsive to reins and leg
pressures. You only have to ask this guy
once... he goes anywhere you point him
up and down hills, over logs, through
creeks. Leads, Ties, Loads, Stands Great
for Farrier, Bathes, UTD on shots and
wormer. I have never had him buck, rear,
or act stupid with me on his back. I did
not raise him and believe he has been
heavy handed in the past so still needs
to regain confidence while being bridled
and mounted. So while he is wonderful
under saddle he needs work on the ground
and to regain human trust. Once your on
his back he's good as gold and not
spooky but on the ground he is very
person shy.
When bridling him he
will toss his head, also he will only
allow you to mount on your own or he
wants to spin. So will require an
experienced confident rider with time to
work this out of him. Im sure that he
will make a dream for someone that likes
a horse with lots of spirit, lots of
flash, and the ability to GO. Only
selling due to having to many geldings
and lost 2 months this summer due to
knee injury so could not finish out his
ground manners.
