My mum and I are looking for a mare or
gelding to just explore the trails with
and be a companion. Breed or age matters
not...we would prefer if the horse was
well-mannered and familiar with the
English style, however we are more than
willing to work with him/her to smooth
out any vices/fears/etc., and Western is
just as fine.
We are even
willing to work with an abused or
fearful animal that can not be ridden
yet.
We are confident riders and
each have considerable experience
working with and caring for horses and
just wish to welcome one into our
family. While I have been classically
trained in hunter/jumper, really we
would not have the time to show this
horse, although she/he would be attended
to DAILY, get lots of love and
excersise, and we would be willing to
continue any prior schooling...no matter
the discipline.
She/he would be
boarded with four other mares and
gelding on a close friend's property,
with his/her own 6,000 square foot area
to roam complete with a roomy shelter,
heated water for the winter, miles upon
miles of trails right on the doorstep,
and impeccably clean and tidy
conditions. She/he would have access to
a superb mobile vet and farrier, and
would absolutely get the finest care
available.
