12 yr old Sorrel QH mare (non-papered)
approx. 15 hands. Excellent trail horse
for ANY level of rider, first to go
through, in, up or over any obstacle on
the trail with a level head, really
strides out! She hobbles, highline ties
and will stand tied to anything. She has
not had much “arena” type work and for
this type of work we suggest she has a
confident intermediate rider. She has
some real potential to make a nice OHSET
mount or with work and time a nice level
headed gaming horse. She has superb
ground manners and even “shakes” hands.
She is originally from eastern Oregon so
with good quality hay she does not
require grain and is a very easy keeper.
She prefers to be outside over a stall
but is not “bad” in a stall. We acquired
her for a program we will be starting in
which we will be working with
“disadvantaged adults and children” and
she is just not at the level we need for
our program, as these individuals will
be complete beginners. This is the ONLY
reason she is being offered for sale. A
good home is a must! We are open to
trades of such items as (hay, tack,
saddle or?) just ask us..Please no
