FREE "Jig" is 13 years old and has
recovered from a devastating deep flexor
tendon tear in his hind leg. (90% of the
way through ) He spent 6 months at
Saratoga Equine Hospital. He currently
walks/trots/gallops with no noticable
limp but I am retiring him and do not
want him ridden.He would make a
wonderful companion horse.He is the low
guy in the pecking order and loves
mares, especially blond ones:-) He is
1000 lbs and tall, dark and handsome and
needs a pasture to kick up his heels and
enjoy the rest of his life. He is on
grain/beet pulp and free range hay. His
breeding is all thoroughbred so he looks
and sometimes reacts like one until he
has earned your trust. Pat Parelli would
describe him as a right brain introvert.
He loves people and comes at a whistle.
He esp loves woman and baby talk..He has
thin walled feet and needs front shoes
at all times or he will limp and will
walk on egg shells. He also cribs
because of his long time stall
confinement when he was recovering from
his injury. I am looking for a free
retirement home for him. I am moving and
can only afford to take one horse with
me. I do not believe in giving away your
animals so if you are interested in
taking him, we would have to sign a
contract that would define my forever
ownership. I would like him to stay in
the Vermont/New Hampshire/upstate New
