I have had Cat since she was 3. I have
not done an incredible amount of riding
on her, but what I have done has been
very broad. From regular trails, to 4-h
functions, to parades, to field trials.
She is not a spooky mare. Will carry a
flag in parades (or me wrapped in
flapping blankets at field trials). She
likes to jump creeks, but will walk
through them if made to. Was told she
would be an awesome jumper. Not afraid
of cattle. Had plans to do Extreme
Cowboy races on her or Cowboy mounted
shooting but have decided to get a cart
and start driving my haflinger. Cat has
run barrels and poles at local shows and
has potential to be a great pole horse
or cutting horse due to her being very
responsive to leg commands. Not afraid
of cattle. She loves DOING something.
She is an incredibly smart horse, so can
get bored with the "same old same old".
She has been shown at halter and does
really well. She will go pretty much any
direction you want to take her. Neck
reins well. Prefers riding in a bosal or
halter to a bit. As she has a good stop,
this doesn't bother me. She does ride
with a bit if that is your preferance.
(I don't run barrels in a bosal).
Any questions just ask. Will get her
bloodlines up soon. Has foundation lines
I think. Joe Cody is on her papers.
