I have a perfectly sound, healthy
absolutely beautiful 3yr old registered
APHA breeding stock palomino gelding
that I sadly am putting up for sale. I
feel his talent his wasted in my
backyard as just a pet and used for
occasional riding; he could do well in
any direction and loves to work. He
stands an honest 14.3h, closer to 15h
and still has some growing to do; has
medium gold color with dappling over his
entire body, a gorgeous head and
excellent conformation. I've been told
his breeding is superb, but as I don't
know much about that kind of stuff,
you'd have to check his papers for
yourself. He is broke to go English or
Western, and until now has only done
trail riding, which he is very good at.
He will cross water, bridges, great on
trails, and minds his own business,
doesn't bother other horses while you're
riding. He is very quiet, nice to
handle, not spooky at all, very curious
about everything,,, loads and trailers
very well. Anyone can ride this boy,
even though he is just green broke.
Due to personal health issues, I don't
ride much anymore, so I may consider a
trade for an older, been there done that
type horse that can be used for
occasional riding, the kind you can just
leave in the pasture for some time, and
then take him/her out for a relaxing
trail ride, just saddle up and go down
the road (must be road safe). Prefer
stock type breed, (no standardbreds,
thoroughbreds or arabs or crosses of any
of these please) between 8 and 15 years
of age, papers not necessary but would
be nice just to verify the age. Approx.
15h, sound and must load/trailer well
and get along with other geldings.
