Spark. He is a Registered ApHC Gelding
born 6-01-2001. Spark is a BIG boy but
just a sweet heart too. He stand around
15.2-15.3 hands but weighs in around
1200+ lbs. If you are looking for a Big
horse to get you from point A to point B
this Big Guy could sure take you there.
He has great color too boot, he isn’t an
Appaloosa that doesn’t look like one
that for sure. He has nice markings that
make him stand out. Spark spent sometime
Roping in the Arena(breakaway, heading,
trailing cows)We was decent, with more
Consistant work he could make a nice
All-Around Roping Horse. Then went onto
just ranch work(moving cattle, checking
fences, Ranch Roping, etc), trail riding
and mountain trips whether it be up to
hunting camp or just to guide on. He has
Packed out Elk, and isn't really Fazed
by dead animals. We have used him to
Drag dead animals as well. Spark is
being offered for sale because we just
aren’t using him enough, so we thought
we would see if someone else might be
interested in Nice Gelding. He has had
pretty much the entire summer off, apart
from rides every now & then. Spark has
been ridden by children just around the
yard in the corral and at the arena, but
I wouldn't call him a Kid Broke Horse
because he is looking for someone to
start riding him Regularly again. He is
Rusty on everything because he doesn’t
get used much. Spark is an easy keeper
Obliviously, currently he is roaming
quite a bit of Mixed property that has
meadows, range-land, stand-stone cliffs,
or he could be on his way up the
mountain. So he is use to hacking it
without much assistance. Spark has Good
Strong legs and good strong hooves too
for an Appaloosa, unless he is going up
into the mountain for a lengthy period
of time we just keep him trimmed up. He
doesn’t require shoes all the time.
Spark just like the rest of our horses
is trained to come to his name, hand
clapping or a horn honking to save time
on catching him. We figure its easier
for them to just come to us then for us
to have to case them down. Spark has
spent time as a halter horse because he
is Very Quite on the ground, he has been
great for the kids to learn on, although
I wouldn’t call him a halter horse. He
is good for all his ground work,
catching, leading, loading, hauling,
tying, etc. He is good to saddle and
bridle as well. If someone would take
the time to start Riding him again, you
will have youself a Fantastic Riding
horse. He has had A Lot of Training put
on him. Spark has Outstanding Appaloosa
Papers as well, with many Greats on his
pedigree. He was bred by a Well Known
Appaloosa breeder as well. Sparks
