Pamper is 14.3h, sorrel Quarter Horse
gelding. He is 22 years old. Pamper
had his teeth floated a few weeks ago
after I had noticed he was having
trouble eating his hay. I was told by
the vet that his teeth are quite worn so
he can no longer eat his hay. We are
currently feeding him hay stretcher and
alfalfa pellets, moistened with water,
two times a day and he is doing great!
He stays fat on pasture all summer, but
in winter months, he has to eat feeds in
pelleted form. Pamper does not look or
act his age. He has spent most of his
life at girl scout camps, so he has lots
of trail experience. I bought him from
a kid's day camp where children as young
as 6 years old were taking lessons on
him. Pamper rides with just a hackamore
and does great! He neckreins, direct
reins, and backs up great! Very smooth
gaits. Rides out alone or with others.
I recently had his front shoes taken off
when his feet were trimmed. Does great
on the road with the shoes on, but after
I had them removed, he was tiptoeing a
little, so if he is road ridden alot,
the shoes will need to go back on. No
buck, bite, rear. Great for trailor,
vet and farrior. I'm asking $150 or
best offer for him. I'm just too busy
with school and kids.
