Jewell is a gem of a horse. Had to use
the pun! She is a horse that someone
spent a LOT of time training. She has
fantastic ground manners, stands quiet
for the farrier, bathes, clips, loads,
cross ties, ground ties and on and on.
Per the previous owner she has training
for Western Pleasure, I do not do that
so I would not know how to check it out.
She is fantastic on the trails, LOVES
pole bending and competing. She is all
black except a white heart on her face,
even her feet are black. She gets shod
about every 12 weeks, not 6. Gets along
with others (she shares the field with
another mare, 2 geldings and a steer).
I am selling her ONLY because I bought
her for my granddaughter who has not
ridden her since spring. I have other
horses and cannot ride them all. I do
have someone riding her once or twice a
week to try to keep her tuned up. She
is ridden both english and western each
week. Jewell has no papers and I have
no hope of ever getting them so she is
sold as a grade mare. Pictures are from
October and what you see is all she
fades, she was not barn kept, she is a
true black.
