Me-Me is extremely sweet and friendly -
she is fine in the pasture with other
horses. She ties, loads,
bathes,
stands for farrier, etc. with no
problem. She is up-to-date on all shots,
worming, farrier, and teeth
and has
not had any health issues. I have had
her since she was 8 months old; she was
started at 3 years
old and has had
60-days professional training - she was
started on patterns in her late 4th year
- she was at
Champ Show in 2008 for
JF8 and ribbon race; she is here this
year in ribbon and key race. She
is
advancing her way on the patterns
but requires additional work - she just
needs to be hauled. She has
been
extensively trail rode up in the Barrons
Park in Wisconsin. She goes through
water and over
bridges; she has been
on one endurance ride and did great - in
the summer we go swimming in the
river
which she absolutely loves.
Because of the lack of time, I have not
been able to ride her very much in
the
last two months (which is my
deciding factor in selling her) - so she
could use a little refresher. Late
last
fall and this spring, she was
placing consistently in the senior class
- she has been in several jackpots
-
and she has no problems at the
gate. She is a little spunky so a
beginner rider would probably not be
the
best choice - she needs someone
who can direct her and at the same time
be gentle with her.
I am selling her
because I am in college and, in fairness
to Me-Me, I just do not have the time
required to
devote to her and her
training. I will consider all offers,
however, my priority is a loving,
approved home
for her.
