11 years old, Big,
thick-legged stocky TWH gelding for
sale. He is about 15.1 and last time I
weighed him he was around 1100 lbs.
When he is ridden regularly he
gets a really nice muscle tone. I do not
ride anymore due to medical issues so he
is not being used.
Very sweet trail
horse. Needs a confidant rider when
riding alone because he can be
"suspicious" of things, but is fine for
less experienced when buddied or with a
group. Has been ridden at Mount Rogers
and other trails. He can carry a big man
no problem and can be kept in a pasture
with shelter, or in a stall.
He
also neck reins, direct reins and likes
to lope. I have reduced his price down
to $750 (reasonably negotiable). Please
email me with any questions. The pics
were taken spring of last year, he has
already started to grow some winter coat
now.
I will take payments if
necessary but he stays with me until
paid off.

He is usually ridden in a snaffle,
Tom Thumb, Kimberwicke, or Pelham. I
have never tried a walking horse bit on
him.
