Apache Spirit is broke to ride but I
would say for someone that knew how to
handle themselves on a horse. Not a kids
horse. She is a dominant mare and is a
pasture boss but not usually with
humans. She has tendancy to rear but not
often. She is more likely to crow hop if
spooked but is still curious enough to
check things out. Have not had a
problem with her bolting. I can ride
her and have ridden her around my yard
in the pasture and out. Walks and trots
with rider but hasn't ran. Just hasen't
been given the room.
Needs
someone with patience and a firm hand.
She tries to see what she can get away
with but I haven't had problems with
biting or kicking. Loads good and stands
well for the farrier. If she has an
attitude you usually just have to yell
her name and it stops. If interested I
can send picks or arrange times for
anyone to see her. She is a beautiful
horse but just a little too bossy for
me.
May consider trading. I have
had her since she was 1 1/2 yrs old. No
imprint training done. I trained her
myself and she is a sweetheart when she
wants to be. Loves to get brushed and
given treats.
