Dancer is a 1999
dark blood bay OTTB gelding. He has been
trained for 4 years in jumpers, hunters,
eq over fences and English flat. He is
in training in dressage at 1st level,
being shown at training level. He is a
gorgeous mover with a very forward
uphill canter and trot. He is a big
scopey mover who takes your breath away
every time he jumps. He listens and
LOVES to jump. He also trail rides and
has been up in the mountains for
camping. High-line ties and
everything.
He has cleared 5'6"
but it currently being shown over level
3's and hopefully moving up to level 4's
soon. He has won countless ribbons in
shows and almost always is in the
ribbons. He excels at jumpers with a
record 17sec jump-off at one show. He
jumps clean, crisp and turns on a dime.
He LOVES spreads more than anything
else. While jumping a simple vertical he
may become a bit excited, but you stick
a big 5' spread in front of him and he's
in heaven. The widest I've worked him
over was 6.6ft at 3' tall, but I have no
doubts he can go wider and
higher.
Auto lead changes, clips,
bathes, trailers, stands for the
farrier... etc. No vices.

Champion Sr English at County Fair,
Grand Champion SFHA 18+, Year End
Reserve Champion 18+ RCS, SAHJA. Has
shown 4-H, SAHJA, open and rated shows
and is always noticed.
He was
shown on September 26th at SHA for the
fall SFHA show (non-rated). We were in
the 18+ category and left with Grand
Champion once more.

used in any type of eventing or cross
country work. I don't want to take that
risk with him. He is solely an over
fences horse in the division of Jumpers,
Hunters or Equitation or a show horse on
the flat [ie: pleasure and eq on the
flat].
**UPDATE** After
having an intermediate rider ride him
with success I have decided that he
might suit and intermediate rider
looking to move up to a more challenging
horse.
