FROSTY"S STORY
Gorgeous Red Roan
mare • Foaled: 2004, Frosty was raised
in captivity with a herd of horses
naturally-kept on a large acreage. Her
curly parents were both wild-caught BLM
mustangs. • Height: 14 H 3” • Started at
3 yrs. in 2007 • Professional training:
60 days in 2007 and 30 days in 2009 •
Beautiful Conformation • Nice mover •
Sound and healthy with nice hard feet •
Frosty has a nervous personality and
needs a person with confidence to be
with her and then she'll give you her
heart. She is a typical curly that loves
people and is extremely smart. Her
movement is quick so you need to be used
to riding a horse with very light cues.
She can slide to a stop, likes to ride
out, she has never been a bucker, but
she has very quick movements so you
better know how to ride a sensitive
horse. Everyone falls in love with
Frosty. You should see her smile. Frosty
has issues that were caused by either
her personality or something that
happened to her as a yearling.
Nevertheless, she would love to be
someone's special horse. She's the
lowest of the low in a herd of 5. Why I
am selling her? I am an intermediate
rider and 50 years old. I would love to
keep her forever but it would be a waste
of a good horse ( I have other horses
that I am more comfortable riding.) .
Why am I selling her for $6000? That's
what I've put into her. Negotiable..
because for the right owner for her, I
would be reasonable with a sale. I don't
have to sell her. It's not about money.
Frosty is incredibly willing to
please. She needs someone who will not
push her over the edge but will let her
shine. I love Frosty and I am certain
someone else would love her too. Curlies
are rare and hypoallergenic. You can
spin their hair. Check out their
history. You won't find many broke
curlies for sale in Colorado. Once
someone owns a curly they hardly ever
sell them. I have put my heart into this
special girl. I have given her a
wonderful home and the best of care. Do
you want to take on a special horse?
Price: $ 6,000 (Negotiable)
