SPARTACUS is an 11-year-old appendix
gelding who is sadly for sale due to
graduate school committments and too
many young horses to train. Fantastic
jumper -- as honest as they come. The
ultimate packer and confidence builder
over fences in X-country and stadium.
Evented at Intermediate in the
2008 and 2009 seasons -- 10 Intermediate
events started and completed in Canada
and the US (GMHA), which shows his
consistency.
Could go Advanced
with the right rider; has been limited
to this point only due to rider`s
finances and time constraints. Could
easily be a successful 1.2 m jumper as
well - look at those knees! Works in a
snaffle on X-country. Would also be
excellent for a rider moving up to
prelim.
Homebred -- only 2
owners. Loves to hack too; virtually
bombproof. No injuries and has never
missed work or competitions due to
soundness issues. As some maintenance is
required (mild reactive airways
disease), he is a steal at $18,000 USD
