Singin raced until he was ten years old
and retired sound. He then was ridden
western on trail rides some, and then
sat out in the pasture for 2 years. He's
only had two owners in his 14 years.
He's utd on shots, worming, farrier. I
have ridden him on trail rides, he'll
cross anything. I also have jumped him
some, only about 2' though. i think he
would make someone an excellent trail
horse, nothing much spooks him. Yes he
is 17.2hh and he did race, but you would
never know it by his attitude, he is the
sweetest most laid back gelding I've
ever been around. He loves to have his
ears rubbed, he'll lower his head for
the halter and bridle. He comes when
called. He can sit out in the pasture
for months catch him tack up and ride
off with no worries. He's never
bucked/bit/kicked. He rarely pins his
ears back, he seems to always be in a
good mood. If it wasn't for his size I
would recommend him for a beginner, but
he can be a little intimidating at
times. I ride him in a french link
snaffle without any problems. He does
have high withers, but I just double my
pads and haven't had any problems with
that. He currently needs to gain a
little weight and some muscle but we're
workin on that and price may increase
with more progress. He does have a
slight overbite and a couple scars on
his legs but they dont affect anything.
A good home is a must!! I'm moving to
Texas for college and I can't take him
with me so sadly he's for sale. Can
email pictures and more info.
