Melrose is a petite frame Quarter Pony
mare that was started by young girls and
has been ridden by kids her whole life.
She is willing to trail ride and not
spooky. Melrose has ponied small kids
and been ridden independently by
confident ones.
We have been riding
her recently English and feel she has
good potential to be a 4-H or Pony Club
horse. Good walk /trot and doing a
decent canter with knowledgeable rider.
A bit on the slower side but could
easily be sped up for games. Learning to
bend and work off leg pressure. Get her
now and have a show-stopper by
spring!
Good to load, tie, tack up,
good for farrier and vet. UTD on
everything. Could possibly register her
