Chevy is a real nice stout red roan
gelding raised on a cow/calf ranch his
entire life. He is big and stout and is
a really good looking gelding. Chevy
stands 15.1 hands and weighs about 1250
pounds. Chevy can be turned out for
months and you can catch him out of the
pasture and he will be just like you
left him before. He saddles up and rides
off on a loose rein and is very relaxed.
Chevy opens and shuts gates nicely,
trailers well, is easy to shoe and gets
along well with other horses. Chevy
would make someone a nice trail horse or
for someone to ride around the arena for
team penning or sorting. He is not for a
complete novice rider but someone with a
little riding experience will get along
great with Chevy. Chevy does not buck,
kick, bite or do anything out of line.
He is a true gentleman on the ground and
