Pavo Real who was bred by Bo Derek. Pavo
Real (of Sagewood Ranches) is by Mouro
who was bred and trained by Edith Evans
for bullfighting until purchased by Bo
Derek to be her foundation stallion and
later her favorite mount. Her dam is by
Maluso(of Snowy Peaks Ranch) who holds
numerous national championship titles
and is currently a TOP dressage
competitor and was bred by the famous
Garrison Ranch. The Garrison's also bred
Celosa III which was purchased later by
Bo Derek and produced numerous Dressage
Champions. Her Arabian lines require
mention which includes Prince and Ga'Zi.
Star has perfect conformation and beauty
which get recognized and complimented
wherever she goes. She was started
professionally and has two mos. of
pleasure riding and trails training. She
is great on trails (rivers, rough
terrain & distances). She has two yrs
training in reining with Aaron
Blackhurst of Sorrel Colt Co. She has
solid spins and stops hard but still
needs work on consistency. She has
worked cattle & buffalo putting her
bullfighting heritage to use! I've taken
her to two schooling shows and is
showing great promise. With continued
training she should be ready for the
next show season! She is at a point
where she could easily transition to
Doma Vaquera or any Western/English
discipline. She also shows qualities
suitable for Endurance due to her
incredible stamina, fearlessness &
