Super flashy 4 YO registered part-Arab
gelding, solidly built 15.1+ hands (with
a bit of growth to go), 4 whites and a
blaze. Though he’s not huge, I’m 5’10”
tall, and he takes up ALL my leg! This
boy is the perfect package: incredibly
sweet-tempered, lovely manners, and
athletic talent. Typical of his Arab
background, he has enough personality
for three horses…he adores his people,
and if he could, he’d follow you into
the house and curl up on your couch with
you! He loves to work, and begs at the
gate to be chosen for a ride. He looks
and moves like a warmblood in a smaller
size.
This guy has been brought along
slowly and correctly. He currently goes
W/T/C under saddle, adjusts his stride
forward and back (longer/shorter) and
leg yields easily in walk and trot in
both directions. He is accepting bit
contact and leg pressure well, so it’s
only a matter of developing more
strength, and he’ll be happily going on
the bit. He isn’t hot, but he’s nicely
forward (not rushy or strong). This
being said, he can be left with no work
for a couple of weeks, and you can just
get on and go…no lunging beforehand, no
silliness. This horse has no vices under
saddle or on the ground (though I don’t
hand-feed him treats, as he used to show
nippiness occasionally) and is sound of
mind and limb. He’s a lovely, unspoiled
prospect for dressage, eventing,
hunter/jumper or competitive trail. If
he doesn’t sell this autumn, he’ll be
started over fences in the winter.
Trailers, hacks, great for vet & farrier
(goes barefoot too!), UTD on absolutely
everything. Come and meet him – you
won’t be disappointed. To excellent home
