Romeo is a wonderful horse with a great
personality. He was off the track,
trained but never raced. When I first
bought him, he was in poor condition and
needing a good home. I have worked with
him ever since. Romeo has show
experience over poles, crossrails, and
what I will call low hunter-18in
verticals, and hunt seat flat. At home
he has jumped 2ft 6in with ease over
schooling standards. He has natural
flying leads that are so smooth and a
nice canter as well. He is not green,
but not fully finished either. He loads,
clips, loves baths, and stands for the
vet and farrier. He is not a spooky
horse at all; I have carried a flag on
his back, put Christmas hats on his head
during the holidays, and have put
flowers, orange cones, and anything
scarry under jumps for him. The only
vice is that he is afraid of cows. I
recently moved from a farm in KY where
Romeo was in my backyard, and now have to
board. I just started my 4th year of
college and do not have the time to
continue working with him like I used
to. Romeo will be a great horse for an
intermediate to advanced rider who loves
to jump. Romeo has a big heart and will
work to please.
Romeo is now at a
new stable in Corryton TN. They have a
nice outdoor ring and lots of jumps for
anyone interested in a test ride.
I
would like to sell Romeo soon. A
university was going to take him, but
they needed to sell 2 horses first and
are having a hard time--so Romeo is
still for sale.
