Louie will be hard for us to let go, and
we're not in a hurry-looking for a
perfect fit. We have owned Louie since
he was 4/5 yrs old. We only need to
make room in the barn for our daughters
show ponies now.
Life has changed
and we no longer use Louie much at
all.
Full disclosure of medical
history will be given to serious
inquires to ensure a happy buyer and
Louie's health, we have never had any
farrier issues to disclose but will give
that as well.
He is truly the best
horse in our barn. Louie is all black
and beautiful w/great conformation. He
is large even for a Percheron. He is as
calm as they come, never spooks at
anything and great with traffic. Good
with children too. Not a mean bone in
him. Never bites or kicks ever. Soooooo
sweet.
He has two carriages we used,
the first is a beautiful central park
carriage from NYC, the other a red two
seater sulky. The entire rig is very
handsome. He is a smooth mover. Solid
through the rain or wind, does not
spook. We have had him in some local
Christmas parades in the last couple of
years. We have current permits to run
the carriage in the historical district
where we live but do not have time to do
so anymore.
He also trail rides
(makes his own trail). We have had 4
children on him at the same time for the
fun of it. He is fine for even small
children to ride him in the ring.
He
is very easy to deal with, no vices at
all - will not destroy his stall,
*
absolutely great feet !(surprise,
surprise for a draft this big)
We
only have front shoes on him when he
pulls the carriages, otherwise he is
barefoot.
UTD on coggins and
vaccines, great manners with the farrier
and vet.
He loves to play, is easy to
catch-just walk right up to him, you'll
never have to chase him. He is
emotionally sensitive and will actually
be offended if you yell at him.
Loves
attention.
He was professionally
trained/the Amish for the carriage. And
will make you very happy with his
carriage performance. Knows all of the
cues. He was used in some local carriage
shows in the past.
This horse is
large and difficult to fit so the sale
price includes an australian saddle and
neoprene girth-in like new shape, two
bridles-one of the bridles has a
removable bit holder-great bridle, good
for the trails,
and his harness which
is in perfect conditon.
He won't
disappoint you. Hopefully someome out
there will use him in the carriage the
way he was meant to be.
The carriages
are also for sale and are clean and in
perfect working order.
He would be
great at an amusement park,
etc.
Price is negotiable but he can
only go to the best of the best home. A
trial can also be arranged as we are
confident in this horse but
w/refferences only.
We can also
transport Louie to you.
Price: $ 15,999 (Negotiable)
