Captain is a Pinto World Champion and
2008 Pinto of the Year. He is safe
enough for a beginning rider but he has
a lot of show buttons so he is best for
someone with some experience. I am open
to someone looking to get back into
riding, someone looking for a show
horse, or anyone in between. He has
Pinto points in Hunt Seat, Western,
Equitation, Show Hack, Halter, Gaming,
and Dressage (65-70% training level,
ready to go First Level). He has been
trained for showmanship and trail but
would need refreshers.
I am
looking for someone who wants to work
with him 2-3 times a week. He has tons
of personality and enjoys being fussed
over and having a job to do. Captain is
not, and never will be for sale so this
is a partial lease only. Cost could be
negotiable if interested in showing or
if working under the instruction of a
trainer (on or off site.)
Captain is located at a
wonderful barn in Ridgefield that
features a huge indoor arena, two large
outdoor arenas and access to trails. I
may be willing to move him to an
approved barn within 20 miles of 97217.
