Punky is a reg'd bay standarbred mare.
She is off the track, so is broke to
drive, though I have never driven her,
so that would probably need a refresher
course. She is broke to ride - I started
her as a six year old, with the hopes of
trying some reining with her. She has a
great start on her laterals and neck
reining, but it's not solid yet. She
will not work as a reining horse, as she
does a fair amount of pacing though she
will trot and will pick up a left
lead.
She is for an experienced
rider only - she is very sensitive, and
perceptive of her rider's emotions and
reacts accordingly. Needs a CALM rider.
Her riding hours have been rather
infrequent and sporadic, but I think she
would make a great trail horse with some
consistent rides.
She has loads
of personality, and you can't help but
love her once you get to know her. I am
having difficlty parting with her, but I
just have too many horses. Unfortunately
I am going to be picky about who she
goes to, so serious inquires only
please.
She was covered by
homozygous black and white APHA stallion
- 'Panda Bar Dandy', but not sure she
took. It would be her first foal if she
did. I have her papers as well, but have
never bothered to transfer them - reg'd
name is 'Thats The One'
