For Sale: Mcgoos Black Sambo (aka. Bones)
12-year-old registered APHA gelding. 15.2 hands jet BLACK solid and does not fade in the summer. Very well broke to saddle. My husband (never been on a horse before) learned to ride on this horse! Children have ridden him as well.
Stands well for farrier, vet, etc.
UTD on all shots, de-worming, floating, great feet and in overall perfect health. Sound, Sane, Sensitive and Strong!
Good ground manners, stands tied, trailers like a pro and loves attention. My husband just had 30 days professional “refresher / fine-tuning” training this past spring (2009) for Bones and himself just to get ready for this ridding season.
Bones has been ridden for the past 4 years consistently as my husband’s main ride and we have HUNDREDS of trail miles logged each ridding season. It is not unusual for us to ride 30 miles in one day traversing mountains, bridges and off trail ridding! Bones will ride out alone or in a group.
The only reason we are offering Bones for sale is that my husband would like to look into purchasing an Appaloosa. Would consider a trade for and equal value, large size registered Appaloosa. email for pictures and any questions.
