Wicket is a pretty, gentle, sweet and
willing young gelding suitable for ANY
amateur or youth rider. Wicket sincerely
enjoys the young people who are working
with and riding him. Wicket is fun and
safe and has a great personality. The
girls (the girl in the photos is 11) are
taking turns riding him - he is very
smooth and has a really fun attitude!
Wicket is currently being ridden 4-5
times per week. Wicket is a
walk/trot/canter horse and has outdoor
and trail experience as well and rides
well bareback. The girls have even taken
him on an outside moonlight ride! UPDATE
August 2009 - Wicket is in weekly
dressage lessons and is currently
working on learning leg yielding. He is
completely sound, safe, sane and has
excellent ground manners; this gelding
has absolutely no faults and has a ton
of charisma. Wicket is a young horse
that would be an excellent trail,
companion, parade or sporthorse
prospect! Wicket has a very nice trot!
Owner is downsizing entire herd due to
medical and personal issues. Dam is a
purebred Icelandic mare from the very
famous Wiesenhoff lines in Germany. The
dam is a five gaited mare; walk, trot,
canter, tolt and pace. Wicket's owner
thinks that Wicket should be able to
gait. Wicket is Registerable as a Gypsy
Sport Horse
