Tonka) is a 4 year old registered TWH
gelding. 15.2 hands tall.
Well-mannered gelding with a super
friendly, laid-back personality.
Bathes, clips, loads/unloads, easy to
catch, good for the farrier, stands well
for tacking-up and mounting. He
pastures well with other horses and has
no vices like cribbing, wood chewing,
etc. Scotch has been used as a trail
horse and he is comfortable in the
woods. He is not spooky and has no
problems riding off alone. He'll cross
water, go through mud and do what is
asked of him. He has a very nice
ground-covering flatwalk that will leave
the Quarter-type horses behind. He has
a nice headshake and deep rear-end.
Scotch is no speed demon (he is not lazy
though) and is perfectly content walking
along until you ask for speed. You
don't have to constantly hold him back
to keep control. He has a real smooth
running walk that does not require heavy
shoes. Scotch is a very easy horse to
handle in every way. He is wormed every
3 months and is current on all shots and
Coggins. His bloodlines go back to
Pusher C.G., Pride of Midnight H.F.,
Ebony Masterpiece and Pride
Generator.
Scotch just had two of
his wolf teeth pulled on 8-27-2009. We
have recently had him riding at Hoosier
National Forest and to a benefit ride
with 100+ horses. He did excellent at
both places and did not balk or get
excited about anything on the trail. I
