Flint (Ebony's Gray Eagle LF) is a 4
year old registered TWHBEA gelding. He
stands between 15.0-15.1 hands tall.
Flint is a very kind, gentle horse who
loves every bit of attention he can get.
He loves a good bath, is easy to catch
(he comes searching for me in the
field), stands to be tacked-up and for
mounting. Flint pastures well with
mares and geldings and is not an
aggressive horse at all. He is one
awesome ride and does excellent on the
trails. He is non-spooky and has no
issues riding out alone or with other
horses. He half-heartedly neckreins and
is nice and responsive to all cues. He
is super smooth and has a very natural
4-beat gait. There is no trot or pace
in this guy at all and he has beautiful
collection. Anyone who knows how to get
on a horse and steer can handle Flint.
He has a fair amount of speed under
saddle, but is no speed demon and is
perfectly content walking along. Flint
is a very safe, dependable, loving
horse. We recently had him at a benefit
ride with 100+ horses and he did
wonderful. The commotion of horse
trailers, traffic and crazy horses and
riders did not phase him one
bit.
Flint came to us under
weight, but he is being fed accordingly
and we can already see a noticeable
difference in him. He has gained
considerable weight since we got him and
looks better and better as time goes on.
