The free lease consists of (time frame
to be discussed with potential lessee)
you can have use of Maria at your home
or mine (my home would be $50 a month
and include one free lesson a week).
There are terms that would apply to her
care, upkeep, and so on. I will do a
home check to make sure that she will
have a safe property to be on. I will
also require a vet reference.
Pines Fancy Moon is a 15HH
Registered Appaloosa mare, who is in
wonderful health. She is broke to trail
and has been used for barrels, over
night camp, poles, endurance rides,
cattle work you name it this mare has
tried it. Although 3 years ago she
fractured her front right splint bone in
3 areas and makes her only sound at a
walk/trot. Maria canters out in the
field but will not canter when ridden
and she does do the Indian shuffle
(running walk). She does know leg
pressure rides English, western, and
with just a rope halter. She has not
been used much this year but has always
been a good headed mare the type you
could let sit in a feild for 3 years
pull out and no your going to have a
safe and quiet ride. She has wonderful
ground manners and has always been a
pleasure to work with. She has had one
foal and was an excellent mother and
producer. Transport can be provided
She has worked with children for
a summer horse camp, gone to
kindergarden class, worked with the
local pre-school and ymca pre-school
class, given riding lessons for 2 years
and is an excellent prospect for halter
for that special 4-hr.
